In this video I’m sharing my current winter morning skincare routine for dry, dehydrated, mature skin—and yes, it’s maximalist. You do not need to use skincare this way. I just enjoy it, and for me it’s a ritual where every step has a specific purpose: hydration, barrier support, repair, and protection. The categories stay consistent (antioxidants, peptides, growth factors, hydration), but the exact products rotate, and this winter I’m also on a low buy—using what I already own rather than constantly chasing the next new thing. I start before I even shower with an eye prep “overkill” combo (Bloom Effects Black Tulip Eye Treatment plus Dieux Forever Eye Masks) that sits on while I walk and work out—because that hour of hydration makes a visible difference to plumpness for me. After a gentle, non-foaming cleanse (La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo Milky Cleanser), I go into lips, a hydrating antioxidant mist, targeted peptides like Argireline, an affordable growth factor serum, my ride-or-die NIOD eye serum, and then non-negotiable antioxidants—especially my favorite vitamin C from Educated Mess. I finish with a milky bi-phase toner layered “late,” moisturizers based on how my skin feels (Sachi Future Veil or Dieux Instant Angel), a neck experiment (Trinny London The Elevator), and the most important step: daily SPF.
