I genuinely think I’ve found my favourite foundation, and I didn’t expect it to be this one. I’m not really a “makeup girl,” but I do test a lot of foundations—and most of them just don’t last on me. For years I leaned toward really dewy, glowy bases because they look gorgeous at first… but on my skin they’re gone before my first coffee break. On the other hand, heavy matte foundations can last longer, but to me they can look dull and a bit lifeless, which just isn’t how I want my skin to look. In this video I’m talking about the middle ground I’ve been trying to find: something that looks fresh and healthy, but actually wears well. The one that’s doing that for me is the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (I’m wearing Patagonia). It’s not flat, not overly dewy, and it honestly just looks like skin—but better. I love that I don’t need to powder it, and the biggest win is how it wears: it doesn’t go patchy, it fades in a way that still looks like skin. It also layers well over skincare and SPF (non-negotiable for me), and while it can be full coverage, I prefer using less and keeping it lighter so my skin still comes through.
