Day 1 of DMM Allstars 2 and I’m the proud captain of Team SMOrc… which means I also get to be the first death of the entire tournament. We load in, everyone and their dog sprints Fight Arena, and I instantly learn the hard way that holding the staff while trying to Wind Strike is a certified grief. We get slapped around early, lose starter cash, and I’m already in full “don’t worry boys, stick to the plan” mode while I’m literally respawning. The entire video is us rolling out our actual Day 1 win condition: the “guard dog tech.” Every team wants Desert Treasure for ancients, and Temple of Ikov is one of the annoying pre-reqs—specifically the 20 limpwurt roots step. We tested it: once you hand them in, you can get back without bringing more, so we park a guard dog on the other side and just farm anyone trying to pass. It starts paying off immediately—catching people mid-quest, stacking keys, and yoinking disgusting supplies like 84 anglers, nature runes, cash, mystic, and magic logs. We hit the first breach underprepared because we’re busy griefing Ikov, get vaporized a few times, but we still end Day 1 having blocked basically everyone (except that pesky Reese) and even get revenge on Bodie.
