Episode 3 of the Hardcore is basically me trying to have a normal progression day while Jagex casually updates the game in ways that can absolutely end my entire career. I start off doing the important stuff first—cashing in the cat (or trying to), grabbing some early upgrades, and then I clock 50 Woodcutting while realizing people can apparently lure NPCs anywhere. Seeing a moss giant in the bank and then random level 64 wolves in the trees is not what I call “relaxing skilling,” mate. From there it’s all about funding overhead prayers the dishonourable way: I hit Last Man Standing right as it gets updated, test the new gear/meta, and then I straight up print money by selling rune arrows. That bankroll goes straight into prayer, and Dino sends me a genuinely cracked early-game method using the Varlamore altar—grind bones into shards, buy wines, and it’s just free. After that I’m powerhousing quests: Monkey Madness for the juicy HP jump, Heroes’ Quest, a bunch of RFD subquests for Addy gloves, Underground Pass with some disgusting RNG, and finishing One Small Favour (aka 7 million favours). Big gains, scary updates, and I somehow don’t die… yet.
