Welcome to Day 3 of DMM Allstars with Team SMOrc, and yeah—my voice is a bit wiggly because comms have been absolute chaos. Overnight the boys were cooking (mage cape 2 without me, needed in dead hours), Sign pulled not one but TWO granite mauls, and I’m straight back on the upgrade treadmill. We hit Barrows for cloggies and gear, and it actually starts looking disgusting: Aram’s skirt, Torag’s plate, a full set, and then the big one—Avernic. When that popped I was losing it, because that’s the kind of upgrade that actually changes fights instead of just looking pretty in the bank. After that we start doing proper sweeps—arena spots, Rogues’ Castle, Scorpia, the whole clear—and we catch people at the worst possible times. We ruin a cape attempt, pull a nice loot key with bloods and some mil, and then it’s time for the bridge because we desperately need corrupted weapons. Sick Nerd cooks up a devious plan (operation… yeah), and we try to log in late and catch teams off guard. We do get a kill, but it turns into one of those classic DMM moments: one kill, two deaths, and I’m sprinting around like moose meat while Oda and the boys are lurking. Big takeaway: upgrades win wars, but positioning and not clumping at the bridge matters more than any hype plan.
