Deadman Mode is back, so you already know I’m not logging in to do herb runs. I start this run by getting my sigils sorted and abusing the new point system—Consistency and Death Strikes early is just disgusting for stuff like dragons, because if I get hit once it’s basically GG. I grab overheads, do some scuffed money-making, and then it’s straight into PvP where I snag an early kill… and immediately follow it up with an absolutely criminal first death because I didn’t just take the 30k and leave like a normal human. Then we get into the real chaos: the first breach. I’m commanding the ogres, trying to herd a small army, and I accidentally lure a ton of people into the wrong spot because I thought the breach was multi. It wasn’t. We still swarm like ants, clear monsters, slap any white dots we see, and I die a bunch to breach mechanics (Yama is a terrorist), but some of the boys definitely profit. After that, it’s rebuild mode—more points, more tasks, more lures, more freezes—until we start cracking Deadman chests and I pull a Godsword (the “dog sword”), cash it in, and keep the momentum rolling for episode one.
