It’s Day 4 of Deadman Mode Allstars and Team SMOrc (Smoke) is still looking disgusting. Coming off yesterday’s upgrades, I start the day by knocking out Beneath Cursed Sands so I can actually get some combat XP and then go duo Tombs with C Engineer. I’m trying to get us more synchronized too—one caller, less panic—because in DMM one misclick in multi and you’re just deleted. I literally almost insta-died with eight quest items on me… that woke me up real quick. Then we send it into the breach, and it’s pure chaos: clumps, refreezes, people getting morgans’d, and me getting monkeyed at the worst possible time. We have some deaths, we get dick down at points, but it’s still insanely fun—and the comms are full sweat: pushing snakes, falling back south, freezing off the boat, and trying not to get stacked in the giga clump. After that, I’m hunting more kills because I want more missions, more loot, and honestly I’m sick of certain teams’ tactics. We land a huge PK with tank legs/helm/glory type value, scrape escapes with redemption procs, and keep the run alive. If you like DMM when it’s messy, salty, and somehow still a W, this is that episode.
