Welcome to day two of DMM Allstars, and it’s instantly more chaotic than it has any right to be. Day one we had Temple of Ikov on lockdown to stop teams finishing Desert Treasure, but the trade-off was obvious: we were undercooked for everything that came after. I’m getting hunted, I’m trying to freeze-escape, I’m watching the snakes (Solo Mission’s lot) appear at the worst possible times, and I’m just praying I don’t get multipiled while I’m still sitting there with a useless mage level and no staff. There’s a lot of “not good, not good” moments, a lot of people getting trolled by tele delays and random NPC hits, and a lot of salt. The mid-game is basically me grinding mage up to 94 and trying to turn the run around with emblems, alchs, and sigils. I finally start getting paid out—meticulous mage for rune saving, porcupine, finality—right when everyone else logs off, of course. Then we roll into the breach with Team SMOrc, show up a bit late, and it’s straight into calling targets, freezing, staying in singles, and trying not to clump while the bank gets controlled. We get some good moments (victim getting absolutely smoked, Solo getting low), but we don’t quite convert into the keys we wanted. Still, compared to day one, it’s a step in the right direction—just needed more food and cleaner focus.
