Hey, what’s kraken everyone—this video is my deep dive on the Campfire Audio Andromeda 10, and it’s more than just “another update.” This one celebrates 10 years of Campfire Audio and the Andromeda line, which goes all the way back to that iconic 2016 green shell. I walk through the history a bit (and I linked Campfire’s full timeline), then I get into the unboxing—because Campfire never misses there. You’re getting the green leather case, tons of tips, the anniversary pin, cleaning stuff, and that Time Link modular cable setup. The big headline for me: this is the first Campfire IEM I’ve used from them with a 2-pin connection, and thank you for that—way more universal. Inside, it’s 10 BA drivers (4 bass / 4 mids / 2 treble) working with their T.A.E.C., NEMC, and that hybrid ceramic vintage capacitor, and the end result is a really coherent, balanced tuning…with some extra heft in the bass. I talk sources too—this thing is sensitive, so desktop amps can get noisy (Playmate 3 was a no-go, K7 and B281 had noise), but dongles were great and the Woo Audio WA12 Zirkcon was dead silent. Sound-wise, I love the weighty low end, solid vocal presence without being mid-forward, and a treble that can get a little sizzly on S’s and T’s at times—but it also brings sparkle and air.
