It’s almost the new year, so I’m doing my favorite thing: planning and resetting… but with way more realism than my usual “new year, new me” energy. I’ve tried the ambitious yearly plan, the detailed vision board, all of it—and if I’m being honest, I pretty much never stick to my goals for a full 12 months. This time I’m using the 12 Week Year approach, because progress feels faster when the timeline is shorter, and it’s so much easier to stay consistent when I’m only focused on January through March (not all of 2026 at once). In this video I walk you through the reflection prompts I use before I plan—like what would feel different if the next 12 weeks went really well, what habits would make everything easier, and what I’m excited to work on even on low-motivation days. Then I show my Notion template (it’s free) and how I choose just three main focuses for the quarter: YouTube growth (with the goal of reaching 100,000 subscribers), fitness/health (10k steps on average + workouts at least 3x/week), and mental wellness (daily hobbies + short morning meditations + not grabbing my phone right when I wake up). The whole point isn’t optimizing my entire life—it’s choosing what matters now, building momentum, and letting the rest wait.
