I recently moved back to Scottsdale, Arizona—my hometown—after years living in Bologna, and this vlog is basically a cozy little “week in my life” reset. I take you with me through my everyday routine right now: working my remote job (and realizing I focus way better when I change my environment and go to a coffee shop), getting outside for my daily desert walks, and leaning into simple things that make me feel grounded again—sunshine, space, and slowing down. I also share the emotional side of moving home after living abroad. When my visa got rejected, I genuinely thought moving back would make me depressed, but I’ve actually been a lot happier than I expected. Being back has helped me de-stress, rebuild healthier routines, cook with my mom, and explore how different Scottsdale feels now compared to when I grew up here. I’m still in a transition season and I don’t have all the answers about what’s next (Italy, the U.S., somewhere else), but I’m trying to take it one day at a time—and keep Italian in my life with things like italki lessons and talking with my boyfriend.
