In this vlog I’m taking you along for a typical day in my life on Amelia Island, Florida—because yes, I’m back in America for the summer. I’ve been here for a few weeks now, and my days have been this really specific mix of working remotely in the morning and then fully leaning into “vacation mode” in the afternoon. I start the day tired (honestly, super tired), get myself moving, and head down for a beach walk with my big silly hat (my mom got it for me… but I burn so fast, so it’s actually essential). I also share a real-life update on my Italian visa situation, because my residence permit expired and everything is kind of in limbo right now. I had an appointment I booked months in advance, showed up with all my documents, and then basically got told the person who handles the digital nomad visa wasn’t even there—so now I’m waiting to hear back and it’s stressing me out. After I finish work around mid-afternoon, I try to reset by reading at the beach (or switching to the pool if Florida thunderstorms roll in). It’s a calm day, but with that constant “what happens in September?” feeling in the background.
