Hey! It's a new tutorial!!! This time we're taking a look at the synth bass from Lady Gaga's latest single, Stupid Love. I gotta say I didn't like the composition of this one too much, but production wise this song is HUGE. The drums and bass in this one are so big I don't think I've heard louder ones than in this one, and it works! In the video we remake it using Serum, since the large variety of wavetables play a big part in shaping the timbre of this bass. After making the main sound in Serum, adding a few extra external effects such as distortion, compression & a phaser can take your Serum bass one step closer to the original bass' power. This video was a fun suggestion I got and it reminded me I should really do some more pop sound design videos from time to time so thanks for that suggestion, keep em coming ;) If there's a subject/sound you want me to cover in one of my future tutorials let me know in the comments below ;) Enjoy! ----------- Hear The Original Here: https://youtu.be/5L6xyaeiV58 My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/sharpendmoosic Contact me at: sharpendmoosic@gmail.com ----------- Background Link: https://flic.kr/p/povvHF Taken by allenhimself, modified by Sharpend.
