Hey guys! Welcome to tutorial #51 which is about resonant cinematic bass plucks! (Shout out to Varien for inspiring this tutorial with his Razer tutorial videos) In this one we're going to make a basic bass pluck in both Serum & Massive X and then add a lot of external effects, most noticeably a phaser, distortion and resonant filtering to create a new resonant layer for the bass. Then it's up to you to decide how much do you want to blend in that resonant layer with the original bass signal and once you add big cinematic drums, some strings and brass and maybe some sidechain on the bass you've got yourself an orchestral sci-fi themed track :)) If there's a subject/sound you want me to cover in one of my future tutorials let me know in the comments below ;) Enjoy! ----------- My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/sharpendmoosic Contact me at: sharpendmoosic@gmail.com ----------- Background Link: https://flic.kr/p/2eHBd8f Taken by benmacaskill, modified by Sharpend.
