Tutorial #42 | Massive X Wooden Flute

Hey! It's another Massive X Tutorial, this time about making a nice wooden flute lead & pluck :) It's a fairly simple process to get the initial sound by using the right wavetable to make the attack & sustain of the flute. From there it's a bunch of subtle sound design tricks to make that flute sound realistic, like breath noise, & pitch-tracked tremolo & vibrato. In addition to that, removing the sustain and shaping the decay of the patch can easily get you a nice wooden pluck sound too :) Overall it's a really neat sound so I hope you find a good use to it (experiment with pitch bending a lot)!
