Tutorial #36 | Flanger Sequence Pads

Hello! Welcome to a tutorial that isn't just in Massive X :P This one talks about flangers! So until very recently I thought flangers & phasers are only good for bass growls stuff like Virtual Riot and Au5 but after seeing some Knobs videos (I'll link to his channel below, really great stuff) I saw you can use them in very cool melodic ways too! So in this video I'm using Serum's & Massive X's flangers at small amounts/0 rate in order to keep the flanger's movement minimal, while automating the time/depth knob using a square wave lfo to get an arppegiating/sequencing effect that paired with chords makes very basic midi chords into more interesting sequenced chords. (It sounds complicated but inside the synths it's fairly simple I PROMISE.)
