Hi! I wanted to take a short break from Massive X tutorials (even though I love these) to do a more general sound design video so you can recreate it using any synth :) In this one I'm talking about a nice technique I found over the weekend which involves having a pluck sound with a bunch of delays all set to different time settings and to almost 100% feedback. Once you have your pluck play chords or short arpeggiated chords you get a complex rhythmic pattern that should take at the very least 30 seconds to completely fade out. Then with some chorus, reverb & pitching up or down by increasing/decreasing the length of the sample you get really unique rhythmic soundscapes out of basic plucks :) One thing I suggest is definitely trying different delays and seeing how they affect the sound because I've noticed different delay effects can sound wildly different some times. If there's a subject/sound you want me to cover in one of my future tutorials let me know in the comments below ;) Enjoy! ----------- My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/sharpendmoosic Contact me at: sharpendmoosic@gmail.com ----------- Background Link: https://flic.kr/p/52G7q6 Taken by Andrei Taranchenko, modified by Sharpend.
