Hey everyone! Here's my latest tutorial video about Vacant's Future Garage pads & leads, based on his track "Tears" from his latest EP "Deep South" EP. This video shows you how to create a very mellow and subtle chorus pad, how to create an ambient lead and how to add some background ambience and sustain to your lead & pad using 3 reverb bus sends. In the video I also show you how blending the pad with a reese bass (same bass from tutorial #12) can make it sound very hard hitting & ambient at the same time. Near the end of the video I cover how using sharp hi hat loops can fill up the rest of the frequency spectrum of your track, and how sidechaining the pad, lead & bass can add some interesting flow to your track. p.s - this one is another request video, I loved getting to know Vacant's music and making this video, so keep the requests coming! If there's a subject/sound you want me to cover in one of my future tutorials let me know in the comments below ;) Enjoy! ----------- Based on the drop of "Tears" by Vacant: https://vacant.bandcamp.com/track/tears Watch tutorial #12: https://youtu.be/6UnAbJxOPeo My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/sharpendmoosic Contact me at: sharpendmoosic@gmail.com ----------- Background Link: https://flic.kr/p/29QQjdA Taken by Clint Budd, modified by Sharpend.
