In this weekly vlog I’m taking you along through real life as a *new* mom of 2—editing my labor & delivery video, running errands, and trying to keep our home (somewhat) together in the middle of newborn life. It was Valentine’s Day, Curtis surprised me with flowers and cupcakes, and then I squeezed in an IKEA run to grab Asher an easel because I’m really trying to keep him learning and engaged—especially now that he’s in preschool. I also share the honest reality of Asher meeting his baby sister for the first time… he was not a fan, and we’re still warming him up without forcing it. I also chat through postpartum routines and what’s helping me right now—quick tidy ups during naps, skincare updates (because my face was getting dry/itchy from mixing too many actives), and what I’m doing for my body postpartum like Bio-Oil and a belly wrap (something I wish I did after Asher). I share my biggest newborn-phase advice too: do what’s best for *you*, build a routine (not a strict schedule), and take your shower—seriously. And of course, I show some baby items and a little summer haul, plus the sweetest gifted outfits for Everly. Through all of it, I’m keeping God at the center and trusting Him with this season and everything I’m trying to build.
