In this vlog, I’m taking you along for a cozy (and honestly a little hectic) stretch of days as we get into the Christmas spirit while juggling real mom life. Curtis and I head out to grab birthday gifts for our two godsons, pick up a few groceries for Asher (because his breakfast situation was struggling), and of course we’re on a mission for Christmas pajamas and all the cozy vibes—hot chocolate included. I didn’t have every single decor item I wanted yet (like couch pillow covers and a throw), but we decided to work with what we had and just start. You also get a little peek into my birthday weekend. I didn’t plan anything big because my mind has been on baby shower prep, and pregnancy outfits are just not as simple right now. I ended up baking my own cake (because I’m always making everyone else one), and we had a chill little pop-in with friends and the kids. Then we get into the Christmas home reset and decorating: tree goes up in the lounge/play area, garland on the stairs and fireplace, and I show you the little details I added around the kitchen and powder room. I share what I found at Dollar Tree/Dollarama/Walmart/Michaels/Homesense, what I’m still looking for (Christmas hand soap + lotion sets, a tree collar, maybe red bows), and I wrap it all up with a cozy night plan—pajamas, hot chocolate, and a movie.
