In this little weekend vlog, I’m catching you up on everything that’s been going on while I’m 33 weeks pregnant. I’m sharing a quick recap of our baby shower (even though I didn’t vlog the actual day because it was hectic). I talk about how I handled the setup—balloons, backdrop, cake, cupcakes, treats, rice and peas, centerpieces, and party favors—and then I show the gifts we did receive, even though I didn’t do a registry. I’m definitely a gift card person because I like getting exactly what we need, and honestly Asher’s baby shower gift cards lasted us until now. I also take you along for real life mom stuff: trying (and failing) to find ponytail hair, grabbing Christmas pajamas and socks for Asher, and running around with gym + ultrasound + errands all back-to-back. Between a full bladder ultrasound situation and feeling super dizzy and tired after, I was reminded again to slow down and listen to my body in this season. And of course, I’m sharing a faith moment from women’s ministry where I spoke on Matthew 13:24 (the wheat and the tares). For me, the big takeaway was the “harvest” part—being in the end times isn’t a time to be lukewarm, and as believers we have a responsibility to be available, share Jesus, and plant seeds through our everyday ministry (our kids, family, work, and community).
