Hey guys—welcome back. In this vlog I’m officially starting my nesting process at 37 weeks pregnant with baby #2. I’m washing all the baby clothes (lots of white and neutrals since we’re not finding out the gender), washing postpartum items, and cleaning the bigger things we kept from my son—like the car seat, snuggle me lounger, and the Angel Care bathtub. I also sanitize bottles and pacifiers, and I’m telling you right now… ripping off tags is the most annoying part and it takes forever. I show you how I sort everything by size (newborn, 0–3, 3–6, 6 months) and then how I set up the dresser using IKEA cube organizers. I keep it simple because the baby will mostly be in my room, and this is still my son’s room—so I’m not doing a whole nursery just to redo it later. I also walk you through my diaper + bath drawer setup, including my favorite baby lotion (Live Clean calming bedtime—best scent ever), affordable Parent’s Choice wipes, and the BlueSnail washable change pads. Downstairs, I organize bottles in the cupboard using a clear acrylic bin (I hate clutter on the counter), and I share what I’m using this time around—mostly glass Philips bottles, with Dr. Brown backups. I end by reassembling the car seat, adding a cozy bunting bag for Canadian cold, and showing the bottle warmers/water warmer options I’ll be using next.
