In this mom vlog, I’m finally back after taking a much needed break to spend time with the Lord. I share a little life lately—Curtis’s birthday (we did a late breakfast at Perkins, our favorite), the pistachio cake I baked for him, and what these last few weeks of fasting have looked like for me. I joined a 21-day fast with a 6 a.m. prayer call, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it changed the whole trajectory of my walk—so much clarity, so many answers, and just feeling spectacular, phenomenal… all the things. I also bring you along for some real-life home and mom stuff: backyard patchy grass problems (we grabbed lawn soil and seed to try and fix those dead spots), and a clothing + beauty-style mini haul with the little things I’ve been grabbing lately. I chat through some of my favorites—like a perfume that gets “what are you wearing?” reactions—and the affordable nail finds I’ve been testing. Then I take you into Asher’s toddler room update: I swapped out the bookcase for the IKEA Trofast toy organizer for a cleaner, safer setup (no more climbing for books), and I ended up rearranging the whole room on the spot. It’s not 100% finished yet, but it already feels airier—and Asher’s “oh wow” reaction made it worth it.
