In this video I’m taking you along for an extreme deep clean of my entire house—top to bottom—because I’m at the end of my third trimester and baby is coming very soon. I don’t deep clean super often (maybe once a month or every 5–6 weeks), but I do keep things pretty clean in between. This time, though, I wanted to touch all the surfaces before newborn life hits. And let me tell you… I did not expect it to take this long. What’s usually a 4–6 hour clean turned into 2.5 days (basically 3 days) because pregnancy is humbling. I’m deep cleaning bathrooms (without bleach in the shower because of fumes), refreshing bedrooms with fresh linens, tidying Asher’s room, and tackling the lounge/play area where crumbs and spills love to hide. I also reorganize toys using a simple rotation method with affordable IKEA bins, and I share little practical tips—like doing laundry while you clean, wiping toilets with fresh paper towel pieces, and using paper towel (not microfiber) with foam glass cleaner to avoid streaks. More than motivation, I’m also sharing my mindset: if God has blessed you with a home, keeping it as clean as you can is a way to steward that blessing. And when I got frustrated, I literally prayed for strength to push through—because there’s no rush, as long as it gets done.
