Parkinson’s disease does not automatically mean slouching posture stiff arms or losing balance. Many people with Parkinson’s are told these changes are inevitable—but posture and arm weakness can be retrained with the right daily exercises. In this video occupational therapist Nathan from Skills and Wellness teaches three simple Parkinson’s exercises using a wall to improve posture arm strength shoulder mobility and balance. These movements are designed to exaggerate motion which helps counter stiffness rigidity and reduced movement common in Parkinson’s disease.
