Day 6 of doing the same exercises I give to my patients. Today’s focus was full-body strength, balance, and mobility. This routine was designed to wake up the muscles that help you stay steady, move with more control, and stay independent as you age. We started with warm-up movements like shoulder stretches, waistline circles, knee circles, wrist extension stretches, and ankle circles to get the joints moving safely. Then we moved into exercises that work the body in a practical way: resistance band rows biceps curls supported lunges single leg Romanian deadlifts hamstring mobility glute stretches diagonal back kicks squats This was not just about exercise for the sake of exercise. It was about training the muscles that help with real life: standing up easier walking better protecting your balance improving posture keeping your hips and legs strong moving with more confidence These are the same kinds of exercises I use with my patients to build strength that actually carries over into daily life. If you’re over 50 and want to stay active, strong, and independent, this is a great routine to include in your week.
