About This Video

In this Smart Home Tech video, I unbox, set up, and test the all-new Yeedi Vac robot vacuum—an under-$200 cleaner with a surprisingly strong 3000Pa suction power. I walk through what you get in the box (dock, edge brush, manuals, and the vacuum itself), then break down the design: the clean white top that blends into modern setups, the simple controls, and little details I actually appreciate—like the multi-function cleaning tool that stores right on the vacuum so you’re not hunting for it later. After charging it up, I show how easy the app setup is (2.4GHz Wi‑Fi required) and why I genuinely like the app: notifications, cleaning logs, suction modes (standard/max/max+), scheduling, and smart features like auto-boost on carpet. Once it maps your space after a few runs, it cleans more efficiently with area/auto/custom modes and no-go zones. Performance-wise, it was a welcome surprise—especially coming from a “dumb” robot that just bumps around. It handled vinyl, tile, and carpet well, got under furniture with its slim body, and the sensors usually kept it from smashing into walls or falling down stairs. My main wish list: better full-dustbin alerts, a bigger bin, and slightly improved mapping so it doesn’t over-repeat areas—but overall, it’s an excellent budget buy.
