In this video I take a look at the Pixio PXC277A (Advanced) 27" curved gaming monitor and break down why it’s such a solid pickup at a budget price. I do a quick unboxing and setup, show what’s included (stand parts, VESA adapter/plate, cables), and walk through the build and design—super thin bezels, a clean minimal look, and a surprisingly sturdy metal stand that doesn’t stick out too far on the desk. I also point out the VESA compatibility (100x100) and how Pixio includes an adapter so your monitor arm has a flat surface to clamp onto, which is a nice touch for curved backs. Then I get into the features and what it’s like in real use. You’re getting 1440p, a fast VA panel, 165Hz (over DisplayPort), and a 1ms response time that felt lightning fast with no noticeable lag. Colors looked vivid and rich right out of the box thanks to the wide gamut, and the deep blacks/contrast helped a lot in darker games like Diablo 4—even though I did notice a bit of backlight in dark scenes. My main takeaways: for around $230 on sale, the performance and picture feel like something that should cost way more, and the 15R curve ended up being more immersive than I expected once I adjusted.
