About This Video

In this video I unbox, build, and review the OdinLake Ergo Max 747—an ergonomic office chair that sits in that premium ~$900 range. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks for work, editing, and gaming, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most ergonomically comfortable chairs I’ve tried. I walk through what you actually get in the box (they even include soft gloves), how the assembly goes in five steps, and why the chair feels so solid—especially with the aluminum alloy spine/chassis and that heavy, all-metal base. After the build, I break down the key features that matter for dialing in your fit: seat height, seat depth (up to 2 inches forward), 135° recline with lock, a knob to adjust backrest elasticity, and the three-level S-shape lumbar support. The headrest is fully adjustable and surprisingly comfortable, even on bare skin, and the 3-section backrest has multiple height settings. One of my favorite “why don’t all chairs have this?” features is the coat/bag bar on the back. I also keep it real about the downsides: it’s heavy, mesh can feel weird if you’re coming from a non-mesh chair, and the price isn’t for everyone. But between the comfort for long sitting sessions and the 15-year warranty (which I actually had to use—OdinLake replaced broken parts fast), I think it’s a strong option if you value ergonomics and build quality.
