About This Video

In this video I finally dive into a gasket mounted mechanical keyboard and answer the big question: what even is a gasket mount, and why does it matter? I’m reviewing the Redragon UCAL K673 Pro, a 75% triple-mode board (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz, and USB-C) that’s built to be a little softer, more flexible, and quieter than a typical plate-mounted keyboard. I walk through the unboxing, take a closer look at the design and layout, and explain how gasket mounting helps dampen sound and improve that cushioned typing feel. I also cover the practical stuff that matters for a desk setup: the 3,000mAh battery (I mention it can last about a week with RGB off), dongle storage, the onboard LEDs for caps/mode/battery, and the hot-swappable PCB (3/5-pin) with Redragon’s red switches and extra spares in the box. Then I do a sound test and talk about what I’m hearing—smooth keys, a solid “thock,” and very little ping, especially with the foam and gaskets. To round it out, I show the multi-purpose knob (volume, mute, brightness, and pattern control), plus the software options in wired mode. My takeaway: for around $65–$70, the build and typing experience feel way above the price, and I’d love to see Redragon keep making more gasket boards.
