In this video I take a look at the Pwnage Precision Pad gaming mouse pad—Pwnage’s first mouse pad from a company that’s mostly known for ultra customizable gaming mice. I’m usually on extra-large desk mats, so switching to a more dedicated mouse pad size was something I had to adjust to, but the value is solid. Pricing is competitive around $23 and I’ve seen it as low as $15 on their site, plus you get four color options that match Pwnage’s vibe (even if the schemes won’t be for everybody). I break down the design and feel: it’s one large size at 400mm x 460mm, 3mm thick, and about a pound—so it takes up a good chunk of desk space and gives you plenty of room, especially if you’re an arm aimer. The hybrid cloth surface has that soft-but-slightly-rough feel that helps with control, micro adjustments, and quick stops, without feeling snaggy. The anti-fray stitching is a win for me, the rubber base stays put during intense gameplay, and the branding is minimal (only a small tab on the underside). Overall, I see it as a control pad that fits right in the middle of the pack for similarly priced pads, and I’m curious how the durability and color hold up long-term—bonus points for the flat, hard-sided packaging.
