In this monitor review I’m testing the LG 34WN650-W, a 34-inch 21:9 ultrawide that I think hits the sweet spot for productivity setups—especially if you’ve got the desk real estate. I do a quick unboxing and setup (no tools needed), then I walk through the design, ports, and the on-screen joystick controls. You’re getting a 2560x1080 IPS panel, HDR10/DisplayHDR 400 support, AMD FreeSync, an anti-glare coating, and a 75Hz refresh rate—so it’s built for creators, home office work, and some gaming on the side. I also show why ultrawide is such a productivity booster: multitasking with split windows is the main benefit here, and LG’s OnScreen Control software makes it easy to set up layouts for editing workflows (like Chrome/Word on one side and Premiere Pro on the other). Build-wise, it’s a clean minimalist white design, solid on the desk with a sturdy U-shaped stand, and you even get height and tilt adjustments. My main complaints are the lack of swivel and I’d love more ports or color options, but around the $300 range, I still think it’s extremely versatile and a great step up from 27-inch and smaller monitors.
