Hiking the Trails of Point Lobos State Natural Reserve With Wildlife Sightings | 4K HDR

This video documents hiking within Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, focusing on its coastal trail network and nearshore wildlife habitats. The route follows established paths that pass through Monterey cypress groves, low coastal scrub, and exposed sandstone cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Trails such as those around Whalers Cove, Sea Lion Point, and Bird Island provide access to a series of protected coves and headlands, where the terrain alternates between shaded woodland sections and open viewpoints above the water. The reserve supports a high concentration of marine wildlife, and this portion of the hike includes observation of harbor seals, California sea lions, and sea otters, often visible resting on rocks or moving through kelp beds just offshore.
