Hiking the Fisher Towers Trail | Sandstone Spires Near Moab, Utah | 4K HDR

This video documents a hike along the Fisher Towers Trail, an out-and-back route located approximately 21 miles (34 km) northeast of Moab, Utah, accessed from Utah State Route 128 near the Colorado River. The trail passes beneath a dense concentration of red sandstone towers and spires formed by long-term erosion, including The Titan, one of the tallest freestanding sandstone spires in the United States. Depending on the turnaround point, the hike covers approximately 6.8–8.4 km (4.2–5.2 miles) round trip, with a cumulative elevation gain of about 198–227 meters (650–745 feet). The trailhead sits at roughly 1,437 meters (4,717 feet) above sea level, with upper viewpoints reaching around 1,643 meters (5,390 feet). Terrain consists mainly of desert dirt paths and slickrock, with minimal shade and broad views across Onion Creek, the Colorado River corridor, and surrounding mesas. The most suitable times for hiking this trail are spring and fall, when temperatures are generally moderate; summer conditions can be extremely hot due to exposure, and winter may bring cold temperatures on higher, exposed sections.
