In this #FunWithFiber episode, it’s Friend Pick time—so I’m spinning the wheel and letting one of our friends choose what I work on next. The whole point is to make my WIP list feel fun again instead of overwhelming, and to keep me moving on knitting, crochet, and stitching (cross stitch, embroidery, and even tapestry). I’m also inviting you as viewers to help me pick items too, because honestly that outside nudge is sometimes exactly what I need to actually stitch instead of just planning to stitch. My big commitment for this series is simple: one hour a day (or seven hours a week) on whatever the wheel decides. Then we check in and see what kind of progress is possible in just a week. Along the way, I’m using this as a gentle way to figure out what I truly want to keep working on—and what might be headed toward the dreaded “rippit” if it’s just not serving me anymore. As we knock out a few WIPs, I’ll start adding new projects into the lineup, and we’ll keep learning new processes all year while we have fun with fiber together.
