About This Video

This week in my Knit 50 Squares journey, I’m working on Square 09: “The Twisted One” from Learn to Knit in 50 Squares by Anna Pantelous. I’m still very much in my “learning to knit” era, and I’m doing this series on purpose for anyone who’s brand new—or for knitters like me who get a little fearful and instantly think, “oh I can’t do that.” The whole point is to show up anyway, try the technique, and learn something new one square at a time. In this episode, I’m focusing on the idea behind a “twisted” look in knitting and treating it like a skill-builder rather than something intimidating. I also keep it real about being a WIP-heavy crafter and how I like to make progress in cozy, manageable steps instead of trying to be perfect. If you’re following along weekly, this square is another great reminder that learning new processes is the goal—so we’re practicing, building confidence, and collecting techniques we can use in future projects.
