About This Video

What’s going on everyone—this video is my August SAT study routine that’ll help you lock in and realistically push your score up (200+ points if you do it right). Since the August exam is over a month away, this is the perfect time to build a routine that hits both Math and Reading with repetition, patterns, and the right practice tests. The first thing I make you do is decide your goal: are you improving one section or both? Some of you might purposely focus on just Math for August and then Reading for October to super score, but that does mean taking the SAT twice. Next, I talk about timed practice tests. I used to say focus on accuracy first, but simulating the real test environment matters a lot—because pressure and the clock can drop your score if you’re not used to it. I also explain why digital vs. paper doesn’t change the core concepts and patterns, so you should practice both formats to avoid running out of problems. Finally, I show you how to structure 2–3 hour study blocks with breaks that mirror the SAT, and why tracking your progression is everything—your routine has to be adaptable based on what your practice tests are telling you. Practice like you never won, perform like you’ve never lost.
