Do you want a fully featured controller for less than £40? In this video I unbox and properly test the Manba One V1 controller I grabbed from Temu for £35.68, and I go through everything that actually matters: what you get in the box (dock, dongle, spare longer sticks, USB-A to USB-C cable, and a pre-applied screen protector), how it feels in the hand, and whether it’s just another cheap controller that looks good on paper. I cover the build and comfort, the hall effect sticks and triggers (so drift shouldn’t be a thing), the D-pad (which I genuinely like), and the big headline feature: the built-in screen that lets you change modes, remap buttons, adjust vibration levels, tweak RGB/brightness, and even run calibration and button tests—without messing about with phone or PC software. I also show a quick gaming demo (racing) and talk honestly about the niggles I found: the faceplate can creak a bit because it’s magnetic, the ABXY buttons feel a bit mushy, and there’s a small bit on the back that can get uncomfortable after a long session. Overall though, for the money, I’m genuinely shocked how good it is.
