Have you seen a so-called 3-in-1 hoover for around £30 and thought “nah, that can’t be real”? Yeah… same. So I bought the Day Plus (Daewoo Plus) wet & dry vacuum from AliExpress to see if it’s a proper bargain or something you should avoid. I go through what you actually get in the box, how the attachments and pipes go together (it’s basic, but a bit weird in places), and my first impressions—because let’s be honest, it’s a £30 hoover, so I wasn’t expecting miracles. Then I properly test it: I check how loud it is (spoiler: it’s over 90dB), I chuck a trowel-full of dirt on the kitchen floor to see what the suction’s like, and I try the blower mode to see if it’s actually useful. And then comes the “scary bit”: I suck up milk to test the wet function. Somehow, it actually does it—and it didn’t blow the electrics up. My takeaway: the build quality is cheap and the motor is noisy, but the suction and blower are surprisingly decent for the money. The big question is longevity, and I’m not sure I’d use it as an everyday house vacuum (bags aren’t included), but as a garage/workshop/van vacuum? For £30-ish, I can’t not be impressed.
