Wondering if the brand-new Anger Solid is the answer for smooth control on slick lanes—or if its hook gets a little too feisty? We rolled it on a freshly oiled, high-volume house shot at Center Bowl and tracked every shot with Specto™ to find out—no comparison balls, just the Anger and the raw numbers. Huge shout-out to Center Bowl for letting us set up cameras and sensors on their lanes. ⏱ Timestamps 0:00 – Ball info (coverstock, core specs, layout) 1:00 – On-lane review (Specto heat maps, rev rate, entry angle, carry) 17:26 – Outro / final thoughts Stay in touch Subscribe for weekly reviews & tips Instagram: @revitupbowling TikTok: @revitupbowling Business email: revitup907@gmail.com Question of the day: Do you lean toward a smooth control ball or a big-hook monster for fresh oil? About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the brand-new Hammer Anger Solid—the second ball in the Anger line, but this time with a solid cover at 2000 grit. I rolled it on a freshly oiled, higher-volume modified house shot at Center Bowl and used Specto to keep it honest. My goal was simple: figure out what it actually does, where it fits in your bag, and whether it’s that smooth control look people want—or if it gets a little too wild. What stood out to me right away is the core/shape combo: it’s a symmetric with a very high RG (one of the higher RGs you’ll see in this performance category), and that helps me as a more rev-dominant player get length without having to “baby” it. When I could get it into the right friction, it gave me a smooth, controllable motion—mid-laney, rolly, and still continuing through the pins. But when I got too deep into the heavy oil in the middle, it struggled to corner because it just didn’t see enough friction soon enough. My takeaway: the Anger Solid is a low-to-medium volume piece with a slower to semi-medium response time. For higher-friction houses (or transition when bigger stuff is too much), I can already tell this one’s going to get games on it and likely be a staple in my bag.
