I’m bowling with Ace and my girlfriend, and it’s both of their debuts—so it’s a fun mix of nerves, laughs, and trying to make the right moves as a team. I walk through how the day felt from the jump: we came out hot, got rolling early, and the momentum was unreal—at one point we’re flirting with a team 300. Then the “Baker rollercoaster” shows up. We go from sitting 1st in qualifying to stumbling in round two and missing the cut by just 10 pins. That’s the reality of Baker—every shot matters, and when the lineup gets a little out of sync or the carry goes away, it can snowball fast.
