If you’re looking for that portable, throw-in-your-bag backup or sync solution, Synology Bee Drive might be exactly what you’re looking for. In this video, I walk through what Bee Drive is and who it’s for, and I show you why it stands out from just using a basic external hard drive or flash drive. It’s a small portable SSD that plugs into your computer over USB, and it comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB options (at the time of this recording). Once it’s connected, you can do typical computer backup and file sync tasks right from the desktop app. What really makes Bee Drive different is the mobile side.
