I talk about why most people should save on rugs unless you’re truly a rug connoisseur, and how a classic jute rug or a mass-produced “vintage look” rug can still look beautiful. I also get very opinionated about curtains: off-the-shelf panels are almost always too short and too narrow, and good curtains need weight, drape, and often lining.
