Curtains are a huge missed opportunity—windows are one of the biggest visual features in a space, and bare or purely functional treatments can make everything feel unfinished. Rugs instantly make a room warmer, quieter, and more grounded (even on carpet, they add definition). Art gives the eye somewhere to land and makes your home feel like yours—go bigger, or group smaller pieces so they read as one. And finally, plants add life and organic shape without turning your home into a 2018 Pinterest board—one or two is usually enough.
