I start with the foundation: a dark color palette (plums, burgundies, dark greens, navies, charcoals, rich browns, black), and my general tip if you’re going dark—carry that paint onto the ceiling. If your room still feels flat, I talk about adding trim and molding, or using wallpaper like dark florals, damask, or botanical motifs.
