This vlog is one of those full, real-life teacher days where everything is happening at once. I’m taking you through a busy day in my fourth grade classroom—from a quick weekend recap to the “okay, let’s get our life together” moment where I map out my to-do list for the day. I had a walkthrough observation during my math flex time, so I’ll show you exactly what I did for intervention, how I structured the lesson, and how it went while someone was in the room. In between meetings (one during planning and another after school), I’m squeezing in all the little tasks that keep my classroom running: updating my math word wall, stuffing Tuesday folders, and starting to prep Valentine’s Day gifts and activities because it sneaks up fast. I also share how I ground myself before students arrive (especially on weeks like this) and give a little sleep update because that truly impacts everything.
