I’m taking you through my real classroom day from the moment I get in: prepping a little 40th birthday surprise for my switch teacher, doing a quick morning check-in, and sharing a tiny decor update that just makes the room feel better going into a break. Then we jump into all the reward-day goodness because we’re cashing in a TON of Boosterthon rewards—movie with popcorn, extra recess, and a science experiment. I also walk you through one of my favorite ways to keep math engaging right before time off: a turkey math scavenger hunt where my students collect feathers by solving clues and working through problems.
