I spent a cold winter morning (about 23–26°F) out at Harrison Bay State Park in Tennessee to see how my Sony a6700 does for bird photography when I pair it with the Sony 200-600mm zoom. This kind of real-world field time is where you find out what a setup is actually like—cold hands, changing light, and birds that never sit still long enough for you to feel “ready.” I walked the park, worked the shoreline and trees, and just kept shooting until I started coming away with frames I was genuinely happy with.
