In today's video, I travel to Middle Creek near Chattanooga, TN. I take the short but difficult hike to the falls and make photos using my OM SYSTEM, OM-1 Mark II, the 8-25 f/4 PRO lens, and Maven filters. I was happy with the shots I was able to capture. About This Video

In this video I head out to Middle Creek near Chattanooga, Tennessee to photograph the waterfall, and I’ll be honest—it's a short hike, but it’s not an easy one. I’m carrying my OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II with the 8-25mm f/4 PRO, and I’m working the scene the way I normally do in the field: slow down, look for clean compositions, and make the most of the light I’ve got. Waterfalls can get chaotic fast, so I’m paying attention to edges, bright hotspots, and how the water is flowing through the frame. A big part of this trip is using filters (I’m running Maven filters here) to control reflections and stretch shutter speeds for that look I like on moving water. I walk through the practical side of it—getting set up, dealing with the conditions around the falls, and dialing in shots that I’m actually happy with. If you’re shooting Micro Four Thirds or you’re curious how the OM-1 Mark II and the 8-25 PRO handle real-world waterfall work, this one’s a solid field test with real takeaways.
