I spent a cold morning at Harrison Bay State Park doing bird photography with my Sony a6700 and the 200-600mm telephoto zoom lens. I ended up getting some shots I was happy with. I'm enjoying using this system. This was the first morning with some light in a while! About This Video

I headed out to Harrison Bay State Park on a cold morning to do some bird photography with my Sony a6700 paired up with the Sony 200-600mm. It’s been a while since we’ve had decent light in the morning, so I wanted to take advantage of it and see what I could get with this setup in real conditions—cold fingers, early start, and birds that don’t sit still for you. I ended up coming home with a few shots I was genuinely happy with, which is really the whole point of these field mornings. This video is basically a real-world bird field test: how the a6700 feels in the hand, how the 200-600mm works for birds at the park, and why I’m enjoying this system more and more as I use it. I also point you to some of the support gear and accessories I use (tripod heads, gimbal, filters) that can make a difference when you’re out there trying to stay steady and work fast. If you like honest, no-drama gear talk mixed with actual shooting, this one’s for you.
